    Default Tech 2 DPF removal

    Hi,

Anyone in the East have Tech 2 and fancies having a go at stopping my car from regenerating the DPF that isn't there anymore? It's quite upsetting seeing all that diesel literally 'going up in smoke' behind me now it's been removed.

I am more than happy to travel and pay some beer money for your time

    cheers,

    Lee

Not sure for definite either way whether it can or cannot be done on the V6 diesel m8.

On the 1.9, they can be readily mapped out then gutted / removed and a pipe put in its' place.

If its a V6 cdti, why do you want to mess about with it. They re-gen fine and dont suffer the same blockages as the 1.9...

reason i took it out is that i had a leaking flexi, the flanges were shagged from when my recon engine was fitted badly, and i had the choice of buying new bits or just getting a powerflow put in.

I opted for the powerflow and i am well happy with it (getting about 5mpg more on average since swapping and has freed the engine up loads, it a much nicer drive)

Only problem i have now is when it regens and blows a bit of white smoke out the back, which it would be nice to stop to save on diesel.
