Mines the same its the plastic that does it. Look at some of the older fiesta and corsa motors, these were really bad years agosome times going white in the sun.

Mines become even more prominent now since fitting the Irmscher front lower spoiler. The spoiler matches the car but not the bumper and that sits right in between!

    All,

I'm going to raise this issue with Vauxhall on Monday. I may need some back up from the facelift owners on the site depending on their reply. I'll keep you all posted and see how we go.

    Paul.

See my latest picture below which clearly shows this paint problem on the bumper:-

'tis very bizarre! Can only think it's something in the plastic 'reacting' with the paint? Did they change the type of plastic on the bumper from facelift to pre-facelift? Something's definitely changed as it was never an issue on the pre-facelift.

its wot you call cost cutting,if they can make the same thing cheaper
than prevoius then its going to happen, quality on cars these days is poor
so your best off having a modified irmscher push bike

thats on my xmas list for this year

If the same primer is used on both the plastic and metal parts, there should be zero difference in finished surface colour or light reflection/refraction properties. I'm betting the bumpers come pre-primed or even pre-painted.

Possible reason Ross - although the rear lower facelift skirt that I fitted to my pre-facelift came pre-primed, yet I haven't seen any difference in colour match to the rear bumper.
