Default Vectra C Radio/Time/Date/Temp Display Dead

This morning (after not using the car for a few weeks) I found the battery to be flat..... Charged the battery (in situ) and the car started, went for a run and all is fine....Except.... The Radio/Time/Date etc LED centre display is not coming on and the steering wheel controls for the radio/CD player are not working..... The radio/CD player will power on/off, change stations etc from it's manual buttons it's just the LED display not coming on and the remote (steering wheel) controls for the radio are not working.

If anyone can help with this one please I'd appreciate it.

    Default

If anyone else has this or a similar problem........

In my case I have managed to correct this problem by pulling and reseating the passenger compartment fuse No. 17 (15 Amp Instuments/Information DIsplay)
