confused urgent help needed please. automatic window

    ASAP help needed

Is there a way I can manually close the front electric window?

The drivers side window is open and will not close. I can hear a click sound when I press the up button and everything else works on the control module.

the key button only now closes the passenger side window.

Need some urgent help please guys

    Thanks

me, i would take the door card off, disconnect the glass from the feed rail and wedge the glass up tight and replace the door card till you can get to a garage and get it sorted out...

There's many possibilities for whats actually broken, so there's many possible methods for securing the glass in the closed position. But taking the door card off is the first step.
If the motor or it's mech has gone you might be able to lift the glass then use mole grips to clamp it as high as possible (i did this on a mates high&dry accent).
If one of the cables has snapped, again you may be able to lift the glass (you might need to give it slack by pressing the up button).
But if a cable is jammed it's allot more involved. I did a temp fix on my mates vito last week that had a jammed and frayed cable, i had to release the glass from the clamps and remove one of the runners/guide rails to untangle the cable. Then refit so the cable could operated by hand to pull up the glass (helper very usefull here), then i tied it off and secured with a section of connector block/chocolate block.
As far as I'm aware there is no manual override.
