HELP!!! Boot won't open

Any body got any ideas urgently need help

Me boot is stuck in well basically limbo lol
It's neither open nor locked.

it's started when the mrs when to get pram out the boot. She couldnt open. It so I tried. Motor was making a noise so I thought giving boot a jiggle may help an no....

I've tried bouncing on the boot.
Tried lifting up an pressing button
Tried to get the manual release and nothing

I've even in a moment of rage whilst out shopping climbed in boot ripped plastic away to expose where lock meets the striker and tried leaving with a screwdriver whilst she presses the lock. An nothing.

So no I'm stuck. Interior light is permanent on and get a bleeping everytime a pull away as car thinks boot is open.

But a can't get it to close or open.
Any ideas guys as I need to get this ****** thing open as I pick up 3 lads on way back to camp on a Sunday night aswel :-(

I got into my boot through the car and took the plastic blank cap off that covers the manual opening then opened with a screwdriver. Mine is a 2009 vec

I've tried that mate made no difference at all.

Was it quite stiff to do when you done it?

Any ideas guys before I get the angle grinder out?

Got into mine through the interior too (2006 vec) one of the bolts had fallen into the lock and jammed on mine making it impossible to open so the boot motor was whirring but not doing anything. did get it out eventually with a bit of wiggling eventually.
