Changing a bulb

I've just changed the o/s front sidelight bulb, and to make things really hard the aircon pipe was pressing on to the cover and i had to lever it forward to get the cover off, has anyone else had this problem, seems a bad design.

Yep, they are complete and utter ba***rds to change on that side. There is bu**er all space to get your hands in to do it!! You're not alone!

BTW, just looked at TIS and the way that is given in there is to remove the intake pipe for the air cleaner housing!!!

I hope I don't have to change a high beam bulb at the side of the road in the dark!!

I know, i managed to get my hand past the intake pipe, but had to remove the light plug and lever the aircon pipe away from the cover to get it off, a right pig.
