Black grill

Been messing around today with my grill, there were a couple of nasty stonechips and a little bit of discolouring on the chrome so I took it off, blasted it with P400 primed it and did the whole thing gloss black, I think the effect is quite striking...





Hopefully, time willing I am going to use orange enamel tommorow for the background behind the griffin, I have had a mess around on photoshop and it should turn out something like this...



So what do you think guys, I am going to do more orange accent bits....

Nice mate, think orange vs black looks good Shb did something similiar on a facelift and looks spot on.

Where did you get the corner splitters from not seen them before on a Vec, eyebrows look different to the norm too.

The splitters are MC Rallying Cobra ones, originally bought for my MK3 Cav SRI (ssshhhhhhhhh!!!) and have been sat in the garage, I offered them up to the Vec and they fitted that well that I couldn't not put them on, everyone who has seen them so far has loved them.

I made the eyebrows myself because I wasnt to keen on the shape of any of the ones that I found for sale on tinternet, and I like doing things differently to what you normally see, wait till you see what I'm going to do with the back lights, I have had a mess on photoshop and they look awesome, but you can never really tell till you do it for real....

Awesome that matey mines been off for a week sanded and primered was going to do exact same you beat me to it lol looks nice I was going to try and paint the actual griffen in house of colour candy apple red.
Get pics of rear lights up matey suspense.........
