I've tried everything with my 2.0 turbo, changed gearbox oil from
3.2 to 2.4, no difference. Aligned the gear selector, still no difference. Think it's just a problem us vectra owners have learn't to live with.

Saab owners are having the same problems, think there using the same F40 box vx use

Personally I think the Vec gear change is the worst thing about the car. I've never owned a car with such a ropey box and I've owned 3 rovers lol.

I must be lucky, for a change,my gearbox is as smooth as can be. Changed the oil tho,55k on a 03 plate 2t.

I've been driving my mates 2 litre v6 mazda zedos around...125K and what appeared to be original oil..now changed although no noticable difference. Clunky aint the word.

    Yeah Vectra!
