Default Fog light problem but bulb okay

Hopefully someone has seen this before. Rear l/h foglight doesn't work causing blub warning on dashboard. Have checked bulb and replaced with two others, have also re-seated bulb holder. I don;t have a fuse board diagram so does anyone have any ideas?

I had this problem when I wired up the other fog light. The black connecter was n't seated in properly but the light worked and I got the warning on the ICE. Took the conecter back out and re-seated it and AOK.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Was it the rear fog light?

I tired reseating but to no avail. I might try the opposite cluster when it is light tomorrow and see if that works. Could be the plastic bulb holder. Very nice Vectra estate btw - just a bit jealous!

Steveo, when you say rear l/h fog I'm assuming therefore that you've wired that one in to work? If not, then the rear l/h isn't meant to work and your bulb warning could be from a different bulb?

Ah! That's because it is a UK car and I am as thick as sh!t - many thanks! Right, hmm, now wondering where on earth the warning light is coming from. Have checked all external lights and they work okay. Does it also flag up internal bulb faults?
