    Default Head-Unit Conking Out

was`nt sure whether to post this in here or off-topic as it relates to my pug 206...

got myself a cheap headunit from aldis last week...problem was when i upped the volume it would go snap/crackle/pop then conk out lol

but only when i upped the volume...so took it back and got my dough back and then went and got the jvc kd-bt1 today...nice looking headunit as well..but i still got the same problem of it conking out when i up the volume

i am thinking maybe my speakers in the car are crap ?

    any ideas peeps ?

    cheers

Is it a silver one? With a USB port? I bought one of these and it was utter ****e, kept skipping and jumping when going over bumps!

Isn't a loose wire or anything is it?

Buy cheap buy twice....this what you need mate http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=146145

Might be a lose connection or dodgy auto lead maybe. Have you checked wiring on speakers mate.
