Default Massive Fuel savings!!! Look in

    Hi all,

For those who are not aware Tesco's have a promotion on their fuel at the minute! Not only is it cheaper than most anyway with the supermarket price war but they are offering upto 15p per litre off!

I made the mistake of spending £105 on my shopping and getting the reciept realising that I had a 5p coupon per litre... the small print says you can use THREE (upto a value of 15p)!!!

So... on that note, when you go shopping aslong as you spend £50 you will get a 5p coupon. Split your shopping in half if on a big shop like me, and pay twice, that way you get 2x5p coupons. They are also offering vouchers for certain items like shampoo etc...

If you play your cards right you could be looking at atleast 10p a litre off with your monthly shop... a full tank is going to equate to around £5.00

Share the wealth! for the sake of a 'next customer' sign its worth it imo

They are also doing 5p Lt off coupons on selected items as well. Noticed 5p off a lt if you bought Duracell AA Batteries.

Still doesn't bring petrol or diesel down to LPG prices

I get 300 miles to £30 in my Vectra without trying to drive economically.

I usually stick to shell too, have done for over 18 months so the fuel was pretty much 100% Shell V Power, but dont forget Tesco Momentum was rated as the best high octane unleaded by Thorney's (Iirc)

    I wish my shopping was £105 a week, I'm currently spending £160 a week on a shop.

Who wants an LPG? Even if the whole of the UK stopped driving petrol/derv cars tomorrow the growth in CHINA would replace it within 48months.

No point us in the UK being green if America and China keep doing what they're doing. Its like taking 1 car of the M25 it really doesnt help anyone.

And LPG isnt exactly cheap anymore.. the road tax subsidy is like £10 a year and the economy (on my engine atleast) is better but hardly brilliant...

The more economical cars that people buy, the higher the price of oil will go. Does anyone in their right mind truly believe that by everyone going green and buying eco-cars the world will be a better place and we will all save money? The oil companies will whack the price of fuel up because we are buying it less and it will end up being a total false economy... Thats before the expensive repair and servicing costs of a lot of these eco/hybrid cars that are being released on the market... either way the consumer will pay! So on that note.. I'll pay out my arse and enjoy the drive with my 300bhp foot pedal
