    Default 2,0 dti pully squeek

ive been getting a chirp from the aux belt, it takes a good 10 mins of driving to settle it down. on first inspection i thought it was the tensioner but it comes from a pully wheel just below the level of the airbox. ive not managed to get a manual yet so i cannot find out what it's called? ive arrowed the pully that causing the noise.

the diagram looks the wrong way round to me but its the only one i could find!!

I'll see what I can see on mine later but I think CritchVXD is right, that's the alternator pulley if memory serves correct.

Change the belt first before you mess about with pullies etc. You may find the noise will go away.
