    Default 2004-2 different models?

While searching for my first Vectra C ive noticed that on the 2004 models there are 2 variations of steering wheels and radio controls.

The first variation of steering wheel(which i assume is the earliest) has 3 bottons each side of the wheel and the other has a roller wheel type control.

Secondly on the earlier 2004 models there is a circle with 4 buttons in it which i think is the volume control for the radio but on the later 2004 there is a dial.

Personaly i like the later versions of control but apart from the look of it is there any other upside for having the later variations i.e more functions ect...?

    Thanks

i thought it was to do with the model of radio fitted as a cd30 has the 3 button steering wheel (half canbus) and the cd70 navi has wheels and buttons full canbus

if i were you shop about try and find a car with all the little extras with it ie colour screen full can bus steering wheel cliamit control rain sensors (but i think they stopped it on 2004) as thats what im missing on a 54reg nothing worst in buying a car and then thinking i wonder what would be their instead of a blank button

Preface models moved over from Half Canbus to Full Canbus electrics in late 2004.

Quite a few other things changed when they went to full CANBUS (look it up in Wikipedia if you don't know what it is) as it meant they could take advantage of the extra connectivity between ECUs.

But yes, the most obvious things are the radio and steering wheel...
