Default Do I have rear brake sensors?

    I have a 04 reg 2.0DTI hatchback.

I want to know if my car has rear brake sensors before I crawl around to find out.

I keep reading that the vectras do not have rear brake sensors, but the Euro car parts website apparently sells rear sensors for my car, while no one on ebay seems to be selling any.

The brake pad wear sensor light has come up. I know the front pads are not due because I changed them 6 months ago and haven't done enough mileage to wear them out.

I am thinking that either the rear pads do have a sensor and are due or that there is no rear sensor and there is a problem with the front sensor.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

    Cheers

    Kenny

No, the only brake pad wear sensor is on the front passenger side.

The ABS sensors are part of the hub assembly and can't be purchased seperately IIRC the only sensor I know for the rear axle is the level sensor for the AFL/Xenons

Forget about any rumours of rear sensors; it's highly likely that the one and only pad wear sensor on the car (front N/S as Ian said) is damaged.
