Default Been looking at 3.0 cdti's

Been looking at getting something nippy but not bad on fuel and these seem a good bet. What do you think of these? Price mileage etc

Matey I would say the middle one it only has 62000 on clock bargain for price! However the first one is very smart just higher miles, thrower one I'm not convinced think it's a bit to much in b price and the paintdont look the best

I had a 1.9 before. Any idea what sort of mpg difference there is? Would love a 2.0T but thinking of the money.

Agreed, for £3000 to £4000 pay the small extra and purchase the middle one
See what warranty is on offer
If it does not cover DMF and/or SCV failure, then ask for discount without warranty, then buy the AA breakdown warranty

As for fuel economy, you don't really buy the 3.0 V6 CDTI for economy...
Mine returns 32mpg, but if I drive like miss daisy then it can return 40mpg, but if I had wanted 40mpg then I would have bought either a 1.8 or 1.9 CDTI

I bought the 3.0 V6 CDTI for its long term reliability, ease of overtaking on country roads, and ease of driving on long journeys, almost the same insurance costs as any other trim level, and finally the warranty cost was the same across the range (at the time)

The middle one is just down the road from me.

My old 3.0 never did less than 33mpg and I believe the new owner is averaging 42mpg.

i own an 03 3.0 auto with 53k, paid 3k for it. using the car for work i average 36mpg over a full tank. I think that's pretty good. You should get one.
