Most GSi's have 314mm brakes which easily fit under 17" alloys and the 16" space saver fits them too - I'd suggest the design of your alloys is to blame more than anything mate - can you post up a picture of them...?

There's the issue mate - the wheel might be 18" across but it protrudes well into the inside area of the wheel making it the equivalent of a 16".

One of many reasons I hate aftermarket wheels...

never thought ov it like that but the brakes fit in to the wheel its just where you put the bolts in to it seems to be too much depth hence the reason why they catch on the edge of the spokes
me thinking another 5mm or 10mm spacer will bring the wheel out a bit so they dont catch the spokes ov the wheel just have to do some searching to see if i have to change the bolt sizes

why isnt anything easy thought this was going to be a easy little mod
i think i worked the size out by using iruler online ruler the threads on mine are about 22mm so if i can get 32mm long bolts it should work with 10mm spacers
