Default First real mod - What air box?

    Hi Guys

Something to share here. This is my first performance Mod, picked this up today as my local Car Performance shop is closing and doing great deals.

    Before:
    Attachment 46538
    Attachment 46539

    After:
    Attachment 46540
    Attachment 46541

My next plan is to replace the hose to shorten it down and make it look tidy.

    The car now officialy sucks!

Once I get the new hose it will drop into the hollow area where the box was. Although you cant see it, the air scoop is still in place to provide air.

A heatsheild is a good plan.

I plan to get a new hose tomorrow to reposition it in the area where the old air box was. There should be plently of colder air coming in from the old scoop. Halfrauds do a decent heat shield for next to nothing, i might pick one up also to be safe.

Just need to decide on the engine bay colour scheme!! A toss-up between Red and Blue!
