Default Turbo discs and pads. Expensive

Just phoned up vauxhalls as need new front discs and pads even with my employee discount they want £160 they don't do a set like they do for most other models you can only buy them separate. Last disc and pad set I got for the wifes Vectra b 1.8 Sri from vauxhalls were £50 I was shocked when he told me

They're talking out their rear ends. 302mm vented front disc and pad set for the 2.0T will cost you about £60/£70 with trade club.

Strangely enough, I can't see the 302mm pad and disk kit on the Trade Club website. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist, just that it doesn't qualify for the TC discount.

The guy over vauxhalls says that for my reg they say there are 2 discs sizes? They are 285 and the larger 314 he says that it doesn't define which ones but I've gone for the bigger ones £60 that's more like it

Erm - doesn't matter how much money you've saved if the disc size is wrong dude. Your car should have 302mm fronts, unless someone's already upgraded them....
