Default Estate- how do i get the sofa out!

need to remove the rear seat, just the sitting part, not the backrest. a passenger managed to drop something precious back there . i can just barely see part of it...

Is it just a firm tug or what ? (tried but was afraid to pull too hard)

just a bit worried about the cup holder, does it come off with the seat or is it bolted to the floor ... will have a look, then a tug maybe

I think its the same principle as the hatchback ,just a very form tug up 18" either side of the centre ..there are 2 locating clips there ,cup holder will be fine,

Feel down the back of it each side there are metal hooks that the seat "clips" to. You have to bend the clip over the hook each side, then a sharp tug upwards will release the plastic clips at the front. The cup holder is built into the seat and comes away with it.

You can see the hooks sticking out in this pic.
