Anyone know how to reset it?

Tried the usual ign off-push button-ign on-hold button-release button sequence, but for some reason doesn't seem to work.

The independent garage who serviced it have only got Vec's up to 2004 listed, and it'll take him a few days to get what he needs from Vx.

ignition off-push reset button and hold-ignition on-hold button untill 3" after change in display-push brake pedal

is that 3 seconds?

yep, but the whole procedure while you have to push the button is around 15 seconds or even more
