Default Autumn is here is the car ready? & for winter...

And winter won't be too long is your vectra ready for the winter madness, it won't be long till every thread is the "THERMOSTAT" & Winter tyres, so have you got yours working & a set of winter tyres ready??

Is it serviced and good brakes for those winter salty roads?

You have got some time yet to get the motor up to winter readiness check that battery & buy quality screen wash,

    Yep.... ready and waiting..

Oh... and I think I will launch my yearly SLOW DOWN thread.

Please slow down.... greasy roads, leaves everywhere, rain, cold and people late for work = more crashes.

    I hate understeering.

Last winter I actually got the Fiat 500 oversteering

But this year with its new winter tyres I'm trusting this wont happen

My front tyres need replacing very soon'ish, im actually thinking of putting winters on. If I put winters on in the next month or, is that too soon - will they last me throughout winter then?

Mine needs a good wax before the winter sets in. Keep all that nasty salt etc off the paint.

They are a much softer rubber compound so will wear more quickly in dry warm weather. I dont know of any reason why you couldn't fit them early other than excessive tyre wear?
