lift the skuttle panel and clean out the drain hole tube.

you can do it with out lifting it if you dont mind getting wet, lift the bonnet, reaf firewall you will see a 2 " rubber tube, try squeezing the sides first to make it round you may get lucky and the blockage may fall out, if nut stick your fingers up it and clear out what you can.

As Roswell mentioned the blocked scuttle drain is an absolute classic and really needs checking say once a month to pretty much ensure a dry passenger footwell carpet.

There is bound to be a how2 on this one but it really is just a matter of bonnet up, pull up the rubber strip on the firewall at the base of the windscreen (passenger side), carefully ease up the 'flap' section of scuttle and below is the drain area and the cabin air intake and pollen filter.

Straight down in the drain area there is a rubber bung/grommet that tends to get blocked by crap.... reach in and poke it clear... watch any water drain onto your toes.

Once the drain has been cleared you may want to wash it out with a hose or similar. The pollen filter will need replacing - it's held in by two clips, one at the top of each side - be careful they are easy to snap off.
