just booked car at halfords for a MOT, any body used them? only £28 what they like with HIDS

I don't like cheap garages for MOT i think they look for work, however hope im wrong and let us know how you get on.

Taking mine to vauxhall.

i don't like taking it to any garage, for me it's a MOT testing station only for the same reason as i'd be worried the garage is looking for work

I use Halfords as they were previously Nationwide which I used regularly.

Not had a problem personally.

If they failed it, I'd want to see the problem myself. If you know your stuff, or have a mate who can give you an extra opinion, then you shouldn't have trouble.

ive done 6k since last mot and was advised last year on 1 tyre and front brakes are low (theres plenty of life left in them when i checked) so im getting 4 part worn so it should pass but i hate MOT time

yea i was thinking about buying them but i cant use the car to get them i was going to pay £80 for 4 part worn, ill have a word with a mate see if he would use his car, pm me a good price mate

They should be the same as any MOT station regards HID's....aslong as they are set correctly, they will pass.

need to do a service euro have 25% off at the min so going to order some service parts, what oil does the dti take? fully but wich one? different sites say different oils
