    Default in need of info

good afternoon ppl so yesterday i finally got round to changing my front and rear bumpers as the ones that was on was a little batterd from the last owners the problem is my temp gauge on screen is reading silly numbers like this morning on the shop run -20.5 degrees beware of ice warning im lost.
all i have done is remove the front/rear and fit new ones straight on my front bumper allready had fogs in so i didnt have to change all that.
why am i getting this silly reading.
    cheers ste

if its the same as the vectra b, the sensor is located in front of the radiator behind front bumper, so probably dislodged/damaged it when changing front bumper

Yep the sensor is in the midle of the bumper. Try cleaning the contacts as mentioned above. You might need to get a new sensor though. Ebay is as good as any for a replacement.

Deffo try your original sensor. Could be a faulty sensor in the replacement bumper.
