    Question Battery recommendations ?

Recently my Vectra 3.2 V6 has started turning over quite slowly in the mornings, and I've decided I'll replace the battery soon, rather than be stuck with a flat battery one morning.

Should I let my wallet rule and go for a cheap Drivetec battery, or should I go for a good Bosch battery ?

    Recommendations please

VX batteries are cheaper than you think, and come with a 3 year warranty too.

When I looked at one for mine Halfords wanted £120 for a 70amp Bosch one, VX one was less than £60.

Well I decided to buy a Bosch one from the local car components warehouse, and got in the car this morning to go and buy it...

Guess what ? I turned the key in the ignition, and all I got was - click click click click.

She sure does pick her times doesn't she!?

I had to get my daughter to drive up to buy it.

I haven't fitted it yet, but will soon as I can't lock the car with the dead battery.

Sure you can, just lock all of the passenger doors from inside and then use the key to lock the drivers door
