Default Video of last race at santapod last sunday

I know it aint exactly a picture but seemed best place to post!

Uploaded a vid from my camera in car of my last race (my others vs bora and rx8 didnt work :/)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7ayEv6S9Vs

The pictures of my car are old ones, it looks quite different now as its lowered 30mm, got wind defeltors and some carbon fibre looking parts since them photos, but haven't took any in a long time!

The race in front was my mate in his diesel bora vs a 10.5s civic lol.

Got a few vids that my g/f took from the side line but still havent had chance to get them yet! Also got the video of the bora vs civic lol

Was a little disapointed in my times, as mentioned in my other thread, but suppose it is a big automatic car with all the extras so shouldnt expect too much i suppose. I do still believe 15s is acheivable though with a better launch, maybe TC off, and less fuel in tank!

Not bad mate, I think you would be better with TC off. A bit of slip off the line is the way to achieve the fastest times. Obviously would be easier in a manual by dumping the clutch.

Still, if you're semi-serious about the 1/4 mile. Take the rear seats out, lowest amount of fuel and you could shave close to a second off you're time.

Ye i was gonna take TC off for last run but my button doesnt work and i didnt know which fuse it was lol. My 60ft was 2.6, which is pretty bad imo :/.

Not too fussed as i dont ecpect my car to be a drag car, but i really did expect to creep into the 15's. Not too worry! Was my first time on the stripped anyhow. Had 3 runs and all were within 0.05 of each other

Good to see the GSi is giving it a reasonable crack anyway mate.

As long as you had fun, and a good experience. All that matters on these open drag days
