    Default Biggest tyres on R19 wheels

    Hello,

    is it possible to put 235/40 or 225/40 on R19 wheels? for signum.

    235/35 are for R19

    225/40 are for R18

    dunno mate, have you set the wheel circumference on your ecu to represent that so that your speedo is in synch... obviously it would not be out by much..

    those sizes are the correct sizes for the vectra... also 215/50/17

    if you go for something else you need to check you wheel circumference on one of the online calculators to see how far out it is..

    some of the guys have 245 not sure what the side is... did not say they would not fit just what is supposed to be on a vec or siggy... some on here have 245 width not sure what sidewall or wheel diameter though...

    yes, speedo been adjusted with some very clever software I aquired

    No idea about going 40 profile but to give a bit more sidewall and rim protection I have 245/35/19 with no problems but it does depend what off set the wheels are. Mine are ET45 and close to the plastic inner arch

    ive got 245 ...but im down to 30 with the bigger wheel

    235 40 18" tyres are standard fitment on Vectra VXR with 18' wheels. This tyre size is suitable for all Vectra C's but preferably on an 18" rim.

    Personally I would not go above 235 35 19's. Any bigger and you will down gear the car.
