    Default Engine cover ?

    Here's one for you ...

I fitted my DTUK box onto a Astra 1.9 cdti today and was surprised to find under the black engine cover was a shaped foam , im guessing sound proofing or something ?

It certainly didn't look like an after thought or home made thingy as the shape & fit was perfect.
I dont know if mine should have one or once did have one ?

Next thing .... where would i get one , im assuming it IS sound proofing ?

    thanks all in advance
