New car options

I'm just about to order a new vectra and have chosen a Vectra Estate, SRI Nav XP. I'm going to specify AFL, but should I specify roof rails too?

Not sure if I like them or not

Also, what colour should I go for, Ultra blue or Black Sapphire? so many things to think about!!

i think black looks good, but its a b*gger to keep clean. I havent seen the roof rails on one yet ,so not too sure about them.

I know someone with an 03 LS and he just has the "proper" roof bars and they look really smart.

He got the dealer to throw them in when he bought the car!

I would go for Ultra Blue and unless you use a roof rack now, I would not bother with the bars

I've got an Elite Estate and wish it had roof rails, as already menioned try and get the dealer to chuck it in and see if you can get them to throw in the vertical load restraining net with fixings. My estate is ultra blue as is my Zafira, having Black vectras for the last 5 years. I'd go for black, The scratches which you will get seem to show up more on the blue than they ever did on my black cars, the paint seems so thin now. Saying that the black could be the same on newer cars, my last one was 5 years old. But the blue does look stunning. Oh i don't know, no go for blue too many black cars around now.

If you will need it, it is cheaper to get the flex organiser (both)now rather than later. oh damn it ask the stealer to chuck every extra in for free. Don't ask don't get

I would say go for black... but, it can look a bit 'Herse like' Dead bodies will love a ride in it...

I've got a Black hatch, a mate of mine down south has just ordered a SRi estate in black with 19"'s & my 1st reaction was just as spoons said an estate would look like a Herse!!, having said that i don't think much to ultra blue either, did see a dark green mettalic that looked quite nice at the quite nice on a vetra hatch, but probably wouldn't suit an SRi XP, Dark Grey looks good! I'd recommend ESP & IDS, especially as my dealer said TC was supplied as standard anymore.
