    Default bought the new engine

    after months of problems with my vectras z19dth engine a trip to vx and smaller garages no one knows why my car was vibrating vigerously under acceleration so i bought a 06 plate 40.000 miles engine today 6mths warenty for £700 so i hope the fitment goes well wish us luck....

    Have you tried a jump lead from the engine to the body you may have a earthing problem.

    was very supprised normaly they come as a bare engine no injectors turbo fuel pump atenator loom. i was lucky to get a complete engine just slightly worried about programing

    cant you just swap the ecus over so you you dont have to program them?

    he cant, he'd need to reprogram the injectors to the ecu

    i have opcom so i could program the injectors. what else doi you think will need to be done or is it plug and play if you know what i mean

    recoded the keys as well, or tell the CIM that the ECU has been replaced... other than that dont think they're are any other electrical issues i can think of
