Default New clutch and DMF but still vibration in pedal

    Hi All,
As the title says, I just had a new clutch kit and DMF replaced, and all the rattling disappeard, thank god, but I have now an annoying vibration on the clutch pedal only felt when pressed about an inch or so beyond the slack, otherwise everything else feels great.
I have looked at all the posts concerning this problem (if it's a problem) but opinions seem divided. Any help would be appreciated.

This can occur if some of the components are slightly warped or out of balance. What you can usually feel is the clutch release bearing moving slightly up and down the input shaft of the gearbox as the clutch spins around. You could change the clutch a hundred times and you might still get the same problem for each one. Not really a problem as long as the clutch works OK (no grabbing or slipping). Can go away by itself in time.

Did they replace the clutch release bearing? Check the invoice for the work which was carried out and the parts that were replaced. They should of replaced the clutch bearing, clutch and DMF. If it's not the bearing then the DMF is possibly at fault, get back to the garage who carried out the work. That's the best bet, as getting them to sort the DMF has not remedied all symptoms.

I have exactly the same issue, very noticeable pulsating when pressed about 2 inches, this is AFTER new DMF, Clutch and CSC were fitted 2 weeks ago, it can on occasions be very pronounced at Idle and a bit of a concern tbh, have been told by fitter that this is normal, was never there before until a week before DMF started playing up and even then it was only slight

    Any thoughts

I've had 4 diesels, all of them DMF, and the vibration has been present in all of them. I wouldn't worry.
