    Default taking out the seats..

hey guys ive been having alot of thoughts lately of stuff i wanna do to the vec, god i thought this is why i bought a new car to get outta the modding scene but i cant help it lol.
anyway a friend of a friend is in the upholstery game and he basically said if i bought the material he wouldnt mind re-trimming my seats in a nice deep red leather. my question is whats involved in taking out the seats, ie seatbelt tensioners under the seats etc, what tools do i need. cheers guys

    Chris,

Pioneer did a How To Here on how to remove the seats.

    tip for ya to remember

if your removing the seats then don`t put the ignition on wotever
you do as it`ll trigger a fault on the airbag circuit as with you
unplugging the pre-tensioners,if you do then you will have to get it
tech 2`d and that`ll cost you about 80 quid so do yaself a favour
and keep ya keys in ya pocket.

Not only what Andy said, but make sure you disconnect the battery before disconnecting the seat harnesses to discharge the airbags (and when reconnecting). Pioneer kinda forgot to do that when he did his seats but got away with it!
