Next Round of Mods

Decided this weekend to do a couple of mods, 1 easy, 1 not so easy.

1. The pillar trims on the old wagon are starting to look a bit worn (dunno if thats the right word). So having seen people vinyl them with carbon decided to do the same, except that I'm going to do mine matt black as I HATE Carbon (No offence). Been on ebay and got 2 metres for £5 plus p&p. Should arrive by weekend hopefully, then let fun commence.

2. Fancied toying with the front bumper and realsied that the licence plate might look better sat lower down. So off came the plate (Stuck with those flipping sticky pads, 1 hrs with petrol and sponge scourer to get them remnants off ). Headed to B&Q to get lightweight re-inforcing brackets to hold the plate on again. easy job to attache these with a bit of Araldite. Have plate temporarily on till I get my uncle to isopon the recess and spray it for me, hopefully before the next meet.

Ok, so pretty crap attempt (used Microsoft Paint cos I dont have Photoshop here) but will give an idea of the lowered plate. Proper pics in the morning.

Got creative under the bonnet this weekend and painted the engine cover and Airbox, to liven it up a bit.

They are acutally better than some of the Xenon bulbs, they seem to be of a higher lux for the 55W that they are.

I'm liking the engine bay mate but don't think moving the number plate looks good sorry
