    Default ECP or dealers?

    the time is now!!

all belts and water pump to be changed, however.............

for the cam belt kit, water pump and drive belt.....

ECP £204 (choosing all the premium products not the cheapest)

Dealers £270 and i would have to order in all parts

Now i my pockets want me to go to ECP's but i dont know weither to stick to GM parts? Conti seems a good reputable company, but just wanted others views

    Cheers

Trade discounts are different from Trade Club - TC discounts are much higher.

Can you state your engine and the Vauxhall part numbers you obtained prices for?

1.9 150 cambelt kit is only about 100 quid from Autovaux, and the water pump under 40. Drive belt 17 quid - a few hours on my driveway all sorted...

Nope, but I don't see any reason that they should be. Doing fine on my car so far, 6 weeks and 2000 miles down the line...

true but after alot of time, effort and more importantly ££££'s being spent on the car, i am not putting the cheapest parts i can find in my engine

just wanted to see if conti parts have a good rep and if anyone has used them

if not i'd happily pay the extra to get genuine GM parts
