    Default doh more probs cv boots

    fitted new rear brakes today the bled and refilled the whole system. got to do the fronts and noticed both sides inner boots have torn apart...
    are they easy to change, whats your views on the split ones that glue together.... had enough of lying under the car lol

    dont use split ones paul my ex boss bought a load and they were pathetic you are best off getting vx ones as mine went on both inners tried spurious ones and 2 month on they went again so bought vx ones and been spot on ever since and as to doing them tricky if you aint done them before as its shafts out and strip the joint off put new one on re grease the joint then back together mate hope this helps i have done litterally 100s so am quick with them now

    Get propper ones. I've done both of mine now and they aren't too bad to do.

    I fitted genuine VX ones which are about 25 quid each

    vx ones are the way to go as john just said especially when its lowered
