oil catch tank

got my catch tank today and got it fitted straight away as i just got the car back from garage after having a new inlet manifold , timing belt and water pump fitted.Decided to fit the tank in a closed system loop first to see if it made any difference.

Looks tidy. Can you take some pictures of where you plumbed it to the car please. I plan to do it but am not sure on where to fit

Is that hose going to stand up to the heat of the engine?

I've ordered a catch tank for my 2.2dti. I've also ordered some blue silicone hose so should stand up to the heat.

How did you attach the bracket to the bulkhead? Did you just drill into it? I may put mine on the battery box as I was abit worried about drilling into the bulkhead and hitting something behind!

you need to be careful that with the length of those hoses and the tank being higher that the vapour doesn't condense before getting to the tank and just runs back... maybe not an issue now but could cause probs in the winter if it freezes.

hi this might be a silly question but the metal pie that runs over the engine don't you need to blank this of as it it will still be trying to suck crap into the turbo i know silly question and all but any ideas?
