running lumpy

when i start the car from cold it is running lumpy and sometimes sounds like a misfire and abit hesitant when driving , once its driven or left to tick over for afew mins it seems fine , i have unplugged the maf and there is no diffrence to the idling could this be my problem ??? its a 1.8 sxi 2002 vectra c
