I have an Imac and a macbook pro, as far as I am concerend windows will never get me back as a customer. The ease and quality of a mac is well worth the price you pay, plus the fact you no longer need an antivirus and spyware. You will not regret it

Been in IT all of my life, swapped over to Mac about 7 years ago when I started doing more software development and haven't looked back since. I've had 3 different macs (iMac/MBPro/Air) personally and in the office we have PowerMacs, Xserves, iMacs, and MacBooks and they are all excellent, even the ones that are getting pretty old now.

If you don't need anything too powerful (i.e. lots of graphic / video work etc ) then I'd actually go for a new 13" MB Air - I just bought one a couple of weeks ago and it's surprisingly good.
