I am here in Los Angeles California at the moment and I have a Ford Crown Victoria as a loaner.
How can the Americans make a 4.6 V8 so slow! My CLK 220 diesel would kill it!

When I was in Florida 2 years ago I had a 3.5 litre V8 dodge charger and my 2.2 direct would have killed it, so, answer to your question, god no kin idea
They're simple engines, hardly tuned in the slightest. This means you need massive capacity to generate a decent amount of power, but there's a lot less to go wrong. They'll go on forever...
Yip, drove a big V8 myself the last time I was in the US and it was so a big wallow-y beast. Could sit 3 in the front though!
no point having fast cars as they spend hours sat in traffic ! lol
Good for cruising. It takes days to get anywhere over there
All noise and no go
I have just had a Ford Flex over in USA 3.5 V6 ecoboost @ 355 Bhp
Nice car and every single extra but omg floor it, count too 3 and then kickdown would eventually arrive and all that for 18mpg !
