Taken from a quick google search - http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/archiv.../t-123387.html

There is mention of a fuse being in the wrong place.

Took to the dealers today, keeps comming up no comunication with ultrasonics. they say it a wiring fault. Where to start is the question, after changing all the fuses and the unit. The beginining is not the answer, I will be looking for Ha HA. .

The sensors are connected to the roof loom, via a connection block on top of the interior light unit. The roof loom is a ribbon cable that runs down the c-pillar to the fuse box in the boot (rec). If you haven't already, check the fuses and ribbon cable connection in the rec and also check the connection on top of the courtesy lights.

Ok I will have look at that tommorow. When I puchared the car the previous owner fitted a rear passenger roof light which I thought was standard on an SRi , all other sri have them fitted. This a 56 2007 model sri. He said the safegaurd came on after fitting. He has wires it into the front interiot light with connectors so I cant see that being the problem.

Sounds like he may have unplugged or damaged the ribbon cable going from the REC to the ultrasonic sensors underneath the front interior lights when he had the roof lining down to fit the rear interior lights.

You'll need to get to the plug on the ultrasonics and check for continuity to the other end of the loom at the back of the car where it plugs into the REC. You should be able to do this without dropping the whole of the lining.

Hopefully it's just pulled out of the connector and will push back in and be fine.
