Today I carried out a job for a friend, after a couple of months telling him he should take care of his new car he eventually listened to me and parted with some cash lol.
The car has pretty good paint work, there are areas I would love to tackle and would take about 10 hrs but time was a bit of a factor today, so I kept it short (3.5hrs) and sealed it down for the winter. the process was:
Wash (2BM obviously)
Clay using demon shine as a lube
Machine polish with SRP on a megs polishing pad (A few water marks left because it was too hot, this got rid of them)
Wax with megs 16 (wheels included)
QD to give a nice wet finish
Door jams wiped and waxed
Exhaust done with killer chrome
Here are the results
And some reflection shots
First in the bonnet
the second in the passenger side door
The car has a lot of orange peel on it which is from factory paint. I would be interested to see how good this paint could be.
