    Default vxr brakes vs GSi breaks

    hi all, what is the difference between the 2?

    from what i can see its only the disk size? is that correct?

    if it is does that mean next time round i need disks i can just get vxr ones?

    sorry if its a stupid question

    Calipers and pads are the same

    Brackets for the calipers and discs are different.

    is there an adadpter plate to allow for the bigger disks?

    As above, the back section of the calipers are a different size.

    Its the back part of the caliper thats different.

    A learned bloke on here called GSi3.2 reckoned the 314 mm pads (GSi) needed a fair bit of work before they would fit in the 345 (VXR) caliper.

    Why is that? It's the caliper carrier bracket that's different, also dust shield behind the docs, forgot that

    I've just looked on EPC, and the VXR pads have a different part number to the 314mm pads.
