    Default Whey Protien

Whats everyone using for Whey Protein. Ive just started back to the gym, looking for toning up and definition as opposed to expecting to look like Arnie or Hulk Hogan. In the past ive used the stuff from Holland and Barrett but ive heard good things about PHD Pharma Whey, and it appears to be very good value for money when purchased from the bay. Also are you guys using before and after or just after? Any helpful advice welcomed.

I've had a few months off due to coaching instead of training but best I found was BSN syntha 6. Tastes really nice aswel.

But I have had a of lads telling me good stuff about that phd but never tried it myself so can't comment on it.

Do you mix with water or Milk mate? Ive read that water is better but it is so bland and that milk tastes nicer(normally just use milk myself) but works its way through the system slower than a week in the jail.

mix with water for through the day and mix with milk just before bed as with milk it will slowly be absorbed whilst your sleeping.

Do you really need whey protein if your only just returning to training? I think a good diet is OK for a while at first.

Although I know guys who drink whey before they even brush there teeth to fuel the muscle lol.

Best I get up the gym and work on the areas I can.
I'd been getting a bit worried about my belly, so I decided earlier to wrap my feet around the alloy wheel I have indoors (working on) and try to do sit ups. Didn't expect much, half a dozen maybe, with my health problems. Much to my embarrassment I couldn't even finish one. Even the dog was laughing.
