    does anyone know how the liftable armrest part is removed please...

    Or do you mean the whole unit? Remove the Aux panel at the rear and you'll see 4 torx bolts, remove all 4 and the unit just lifts out.

    Your a star Scots... going to scrappies tomorrow as they have an 08 SRI there and mine is showing very slight signs of wear...

    oh, and does anyone know how to remove the rear one as I have seen one which is the same principle as the rear, lift up lid with a cubby hole in it...

    Something different with the possibility of bling, don't know if the arm rest
    bit could be recovered to match SRI interior

    Eh? Did they drop that in on the later SRi's? Mine has that as standard, not much room in it though, but enough to keep some baby wipes and the telly remote.
