    Default 12v switch

just a quick one installing my front sensors today, planning powering them from a dash mounted switch, what switches at maplin would be ok. or i might just keep them perm on.

I'm not sure if maplins sell them but I've seen relays with a ~30 second delay. So you could wire it so that when you engage reverse both the front and rear sensors are active, then when you come out of reverse the front are still powered for the ~30 seconds.

If you can't get a delay relay any 12v switch will do but it'd be best to get an illuminated switch so you know when they're on. I think the most subtle/flush fit illuminated ones maplins sell are square-ish with a round rocker or push button.

Have you got an electrical meter, could check on/off. Iirc, there is no negative, the switch interupts the live supply, earth is to illuminate switch.
