Default Busy and Expensive day for the vectra...

Well been itching to use my trade card ever since i became a full member so popped into vauxhall dealer and left £220 worse off

Got all major service bits and bobs which turn out alot cheaper with trade club apart from timing chain kit which was only £10 cheaper

Not brave enough to attempt the timing chain myself so with a little help from the father were going to do it next weekend hopefully (thats if it dosent rattle itself to death by then)

With the rest of the day off work i decided to have a go at painting my V grill in Ultra blue which turned out pretty good Cant wait to get it on the car

    Pics to follow........

You can get them from Saab dealers, part number 8396046, I don't know the price though. If they turn out to be expensive, try asking a Saab specialist if you can borrow them for a day.

Nearest Saab dealer is quite a distance away, do Vauxhall not do them?

Is there anything else that can be used? A universal type for example?

I've done some further research, the Vauxhall reference for them is KM-6362, and the same tool is used for the Z22YH engine, which means any Vauxhall dealer or Vauxhall specialist would use them in the service department, so that hugely increases the number of garages you could ask if they'll lend them to you.
