    Default Liking My Signum Again.

After a traumatic first 6 months of ownership I have actually begun to like my Signum.

I bought it as a make do and mend car after I rolled my Mondeo estate which to cut a long story short I down graded from a Audi A4 Cab. So really I saw it as a multiple step down so it didnt get much love. Then to compound the issue I had a hand brake failure after 2 months of ownership and the damn thing rolled into my bosses brand new bmw. Not showing itself in glory the rear dampner gave up and I had a few niggly issues.

However after joining the forum and learning some of the tricks my siggy has become a car im really happy with.

I have a 2003 design 2.2 dti, and changing the shocks over to b4's has transformed the handling, and after a good service, new brake lines, some other tweaks i think its ace. I love the rear seat arrangement, the dog fits in the boot, the seats are comfy and the fuel return is pretty good. Ok its not what I would call fast but its no 1.1 fiesta!

Anyways with my new found love for it, I have treated myself to an ebay sourced travel assit (Think Vauxhall fleeced me for the fitting kit though £42!) i thought it would be good for keeping the some bits cool whilst on day trips with the dog!

Im now looking at one of the cheap double din tv units with a digital tuner for long journeys.

Anyway just thought I would share my thoughts!

Ha ha I gave up smoking a while back....., mines just bog standard, silver 2.2 dti oil burner. Not perfect by a long way but in good nick. Nowt special to take pics of.

Anyone know the best place to get a cheap replacement rear ash tray, or a way to fix it, ****** thing hangs out also I need a plastic cover for the rightside rear arm hinge.

Still trying to work out what to put in the overhead storage though, so far a couple of pens, my incar charger and sunnies have been stowed up there.

yup, they got rid of um and just put a stupid weak blanking plate in there. For the sake of just using the space they should have left it in (my opinion ofcourse)
