    Default Rear Window Demister

    Just happened two nights ago, turned the demister on and it would only demist the top two and bottom two elements anybody got any ideas

    I had the same with mine. If it's under warranty, they should do it, but otherwise, it's a bit of a pricey one.......

    If it's not in warranty, opps bugg*r I tripped with 2 house bricks in my hand now I'll have to phone autoglass to get a new one in, 'Can I have GM Dark Solar Protect Glass please'. Terrible walking round with bricks. Hey Mr Autoglass I didn't realise new glass comes with rear screen demist built in.

    Good idea by the way i take it GM Dark Solar Protect Glass is dark tinted

    Well took it in its not under warranty cos the screen has been scraped must have caught it with me ring when cleaning, new one £405.27 fitted, so methinks insurance will have to pay for this one. Somebody mentioned to me about a special paint that could fix it so I phoned rac autowindscreens up and said they dont have it but suggested the insurance. Ok I thought will do that but then forgot about till I was at work. Brother came round next day and said pop into Bills Autoparts tommorow and they will have your stuff in, Granville Electro Connector its called and it works all for the price of £9

    Sorry to drag up an old thread but I think you can repair it - I have 1 line out on my rear window and am going to try http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-Heated-Win...d=p3286.c0.m14
