    Default dual mass flywheel

    Been quoted £600 to supply and fit new clutch and dual mass flywheel is this a good price its for my vectra cdti 150.

    If not too far away try Railway Motors in Westhoughton nr Bolton, I used them a few years ago, pretty good service and competative prices, that said it was a few (8 yrs) ago.

    Just been quoted £800ish from an independent ive not used before but a friend has (says there, vx gave two quotes £1200 fitted (LUK kit), £1700 for original factory type which we all know are crap.

    Typical dealers will charge £1,700, why? beats me. A clutch/Transmission specialist will charge around £600-800 for changing both.

    I'd say £600 is a good price, I've been looking round myself and most quotes are coming back around the £600 mark with the exception of Vauxhall! lol

    my mates garage is only £35 an hour labour and its a 5 hour job ish , so £600 is good , it is with a new clutch too right ?

    Yes m8ty its a good price I had mind done
    £430 for the 4 part clutch/DMF (LUK kit), and £200 for fitting Total = £630 local garage in west lothian
    steelers wanted £1500
