hi folks as it states i need some advice please, i got myself a 1.8 vecccy sri on a 53 plate about 2 months ago. when i got it the heater control panel didnt work but i just thought i would sort it at a later stage, so this over the weekend i removed the heater control unit to see if i could see anything and noticed it was the wrong unit as it had no a/c, i went to the local scrappy and got one but it it is still the same problem. No power to the unit, not lighting up, i also have no reading on the displays temp readout. i have checked all the fuses but everything is fine. i got an auto electrician out today to hook up the diagnostic and see what that said but it just kept saying that it could not locate the heater control ecu ????? any advice please as this needs sorting asap thanks guys

Possibly a bad earth point behind dash?
